Hello!

I am an Applied Scientist at Uber in New York.

Previously, I was a Predoctoral Fellow at Opportunity Insights, where I used econometric tools and large datasets to study the role of colleges as engines of upward mobility. I also used statistical theory to better understand noisy estimates and rebuilt the IRS Databank, a database used by the Treasury and the IRS that holds the universe of raw American tax records into a person-year panel structure.

I graduated from Brown with a B.S. in Computer Science-Economics. At Brown, I was fortunate to be advised by Professor Emily Oster and won the Department of Economics’ award for the best senior thesis in my graduating class.

I am also an avid tennis player and reader!
